FAQ
Everything important
about the audit
Practical answers about how BASE Auditor reads pages, calculates scores and what to expect from a public report.
What does BASE Auditor check?v
It checks whether a public page can explain the offer, build trust and move a visitor to a request. The audit looks at the first screen, buttons, forms, proof, commercial terms, readability, technical signals and supporting pages when they are available.
Do I need to create an account before running an audit?v
No. You can start with a URL. An account is useful if you want to save reports in the dashboard, refresh them later or delete your own public report.
Will the report be public?v
Yes. Finished reports can be opened without login by direct link and may appear in the public audit catalog and sitemap. The form asks you to confirm this before the audit starts.
What data is sent to AI providers?v
When AI mode is enabled, the service can send the page URL, extracted text, headings, buttons, technical signals and short business context. Passwords, payment data and closed pages behind login are not sent.
Can I delete a report?v
If you are logged in and the report belongs to your account, you can delete it from the dashboard. If someone else created a public report for your website, you can request removal from the report page.
Is this a technical SEO audit?v
Not exactly. BASE Auditor checks some technical signals, but the main focus is business usefulness: why the page does or does not generate leads.
